Ebay timewasters Bulgarian property

Two weeks ago an Ebayer asked if he could sell houses on our behalf, we didnt respond to this. The Ebay won a property from us, and soon after his "Lawyer" who does not appear to be a registered one, decided that things were not to his liking, that he wanted more money from the buyer, who was the lawyers client. We supplied all the necessary documents, even going as far as making up a new notary act, yet the user left negative (With lies in his comments), today we received an email:"Please could you allow me more time, as you should appreciate my solicitor is in Bulgaria and cannot just make plans to come to Veliko Turnovo without any notice. I also need to check my position on the funding. Also I am seeking the ebay opinion as to this case. I therefore request a further 7 days before you proceed with anything. J******"Note that the user left negative before checking anything, his lawyer appeared to know very little about the way the law works and it turns out that he isnt even registered as a lawyer in Bulgaria. So, the user got to leave negative, nothing we can do, and the user STILL wants to go ahead with the sale! The user's ID? Its yogibear153This user, I expect you will avoid now anyway, but in any case I advise you to stay clear, the user has lost us expected bids, which means business. We dont normally write so publically about a user, however this one should not be allowed on Ebay.I advise sellers to vet their bidders very, very carefully. If you are selling high value items, make sure you know who is bidding, if you dont trust your instinct then cancel their bids and block them, its better not to sell 1 item than sell and get mucked around or negative feedback.

A few tips for sellers:

Check you're bidders, so long as they dont snipe your auctions you should be able to see who you will be dealing with. If someone who is bidding on one of your items has left a lot of negative feedback, then i would not deal with them, obviously if they have left one or even two this could be because the seller has been a bad seller, otherwise it could be that the buyer is trigger happy and any slight bump makes them leave negative feedback!

Know your bidders location. If you're selling fragile items, you may not want to send them half way accross the world, if the other Ebayer is in a different country you'll see this when you click on their ID, if you dont wish to deal with someone in that country then block the bidder.

Bidder asking lots of questions, not listening to what you have been replying and is argumentative? Block the bidder, the bidder may be an awkward customer, possibly not worth selling to.

Buyer sells what you sell? The buyer may be a competitor of yours, why would a competitor buy from you? Block.

Buyer asking about Western Union, "final price" or asking what the shipping cost is for something that cant actually be shipped (We sell property and have had this question asked a couple of times) then block the bidder, they may be a fraudulent bidder.

Remember, as a seller you have a lot at stake when selling, a buyer can just open another account if their feedback gets bad and this doesnt affect them, by pre-vetting your buyers, you will be doing yourself a favour and genuine buyers.

As a footnote, Yogibear now appears to be selling property on Ebay!
